HOUSE CONCERT - Peter Mulvey @ Skyline Stage (a.k.a Derek & Chris' House)
Outdoor House Concert in Oakland Hills - 341 Rishell Drive
We are honored to host a house concert for the absolutely amazing, acclaimed singer-songwriter-guitar wizard Peter Mulvey at our house on October 15th, and I want to invite you (and your family and friends!) to come and catch an awesome concert with us! Feel free to share this event with your friends as well.
Hosting a concert for Peter is dream come true for me. From the first time we walked through our home, I couldn’t stop thinking about how perfect our backyard would be for a house concert. For years, I’ve daydreamed about my favorite artists playing beautiful music here in our yard for friends and fellow music lovers while the sun sets on the SF Bay over their shoulder. I’m so happy to announce our first House Concert at Skyline Stage (a.k.a. our house in the Oakland Hills) is by one of my favorite musicians for over 20 years – the incredible Peter Mulvey! A bit about Peter:
Peter Mulvey (
https://www.petermulvey.com/) has been a songwriter, road-dog, raconteur, and almost-poet since before he can remember. Twenty records, one illustrated book, thousands of live performances, a TEDx talk, a decades-long association with the National Youth Science Camp, opening for luminaries such as Ani DiFranco, Emmylou Harris, and Chuck Prophet, appearances on NPR, an annual autumn tour by bicycle, emceeing festivals, hosting his own boutique festival (the Lamplighter Sessions, in Boston and Wisconsin)… Mulvey never stops. He has built his life’s work on collaboration and on an instinct for the eclectic and the vital. He folds everything he encounters into his work: poetry, social justice, scientific literacy, and a deeply abiding humanism are all on plain display in his art.
Tickets for the show are $20 if purchased in advance / $25 (cash or Venmo) at the door (every penny goes to Peter). Kids are free!
You can purchase advance tickets at:

Venmo (no fees): @Derek-Moulaison
We’ll have some drinks and snacks, but feel free to bring anything else you’d like to enjoy during the show, and/or a drink or snacks to share potluck style.
Also, the show is OUTDOORS. We’ll have blankets if it gets a bit cool, but please dress for the weather.
I hope you all can come. And if you don't know about Peter Mulvey, I'm super excited to introduce you to his music!
